1. Introduction

This privacy policy explains how Marc Devillard, certified hypnotherapist practising under the name Eunoria, collects, uses, retains and protects the personal information of people who visit the website eunoria.ca or use its services.

It has been drafted in compliance with the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector of Quebec (R.S.Q., c. P-39.1), as amended by Bill 25, which came into force progressively since September 2022.

2. Personal information collected

2.1 Via Calendly (appointment booking)

When you book a session via Calendly, the following information is collected: your name, your email address, the date and time of the appointment, and any information you choose to share in the notes field. This information is processed by Calendly LLC — please consult their policy at calendly.com/privacy.

2.2 Via email

When you write to us at marc@eunoria.ca, we retain the information contained in your message and your email address, solely to respond to your request and ensure follow-up on your file. Our email is provided by Proton Mail AG (Switzerland), with end-to-end encryption.

2.3 Via the newsletter (daily quotes)

If you subscribe to our inspirational quotes newsletter, we collect only your email address. This subscription is entirely voluntary. You may unsubscribe at any time via the link included in each mailing. The newsletter is managed by Brevo (brevo.com). No promotional content will be included.

2.4 Browsing data

Our site does not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. The only cookies present are technical cookies strictly necessary for the operation of the site. If we integrate tracking tools in the future, we will inform you via an update to this policy and a consent banner.

3. Purposes of collection

Your personal information is used exclusively to: confirm and manage your appointments · send you automatic reminders via Calendly · answer your questions and follow up on your support journey · send you the inspirational quotes you have subscribed to · meet our legal and professional obligations. We do not use your information for direct marketing, profiling, or automated decision-making.

4. Retention of information

Appointment information (Calendly): 24 months following your last session · Email exchanges relating to a support journey: 24 months following the end of the journey · Email address (newsletter): until your unsubscription. Upon expiry of these periods, your information is deleted or anonymised securely.

5. Security measures

We take the following measures to protect your information: end-to-end encrypted email (Proton Mail) · SSL/TLS certificate on the site (HTTPS connection) · WordPress access restricted by two-factor authentication · use of providers recognised for their security practices. In the event of an incident likely to cause serious harm, we will notify you and inform the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec, in accordance with Bill 25.

6. Your rights

In accordance with Quebec law, you have the following rights: right of access to your information · right of rectification · right to erasure (subject to our legal obligations) · right to portability in a structured technological format · right to unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. To exercise any of these rights, write to us at marc@eunoria.ca. We undertake to respond within 30 days.

7. Third-party service providers

We use the following providers, who may process some of your information on our behalf: Calendly LLC (United States) — appointment booking · Proton Mail AG (Switzerland) — encrypted email · Brevo SAS (France) — newsletter · WHC (Canada) — WordPress hosting. These providers are required to protect your information and to use it only for the agreed purposes. As some are established outside Quebec, your information may be subject to the laws of their country.

8. Amendments

We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time. Any modification will be published on this page with a revised update date. If the changes are significant, we will inform you by email if you are subscribed to our newsletter.
